A historic estate fifteen miles south of Edinburgh, set within a partly rewilded designed landscape of woodland, river and the romantic ruined shell of the original Palladian mansion. Ceremonies by the water's edge beneath ancient trees, drinks in the light-filled Glass Orangery and receptions in Penicuik House itself, with on-site cottages and houses sleeping the whole party. Particularly suited to couples wanting outdoor ceremonies, a strong sense of place and a multi-day celebration.
Penicuik Estate is a historic and rural wedding venue in Midlothian. It accommodates up to 150 guests for daytime ceremonies and 220 for evening receptions. Facilities include licensed for civil ceremonies, exclusive hire, private grounds and on-site accommodation.
