Melville is one of the few castles near Edinburgh to offer genuinely intimate room options alongside full exclusive-hire — small ceremonies from ten guests in the castle's historic rooms sit comfortably alongside larger marquee receptions in the grounds. A proper Scottish castle without the crowds.

Melville Castle is a castle and historic wedding venue in Midlothian. It accommodates up to 80 guests for daytime ceremonies and 200 for evening receptions. Facilities include on-site accommodation, in-house catering, licensed for civil ceremonies, exclusive hire and private grounds.
