The world's oldest purpose-built students' union, Teviot Row House opened on Bristo Square in 1889 and remains one of Edinburgh's most atmospheric and singular buildings. Refurbished and reopened in 2026, its Debating Hall, Loft Bar and rooftop terrace give couples a flexible, dramatic historic setting — part Victorian castle, part Edinburgh institution — with an in-house wedding coordinator and marquee option.
