Edinburgh City Chambers
Historic Wedding Venue in Old Town
About Edinburgh City Chambers
Designed by John Adam in 1753 as the city's Royal Exchange and now the seat of Edinburgh Council, City Chambers offers civil ceremonies in a beautifully proportioned wood-panelled room overlooking the Royal Mile. Four interconnected rooms scale from intimate ceremonies of 36 up to suites for 110, making it one of the most genuinely architectural and well-located civic venues for a city-centre wedding. Civil registration and venue hire run hand in hand.
Edinburgh City Chambers is a historic and classic wedding venue in Old Town. It accommodates up to 75 guests for daytime ceremonies and 110 for evening receptions. Facilities include licensed for civil ceremonies and wheelchair accessible.
